A member of staff at the region’s leading health club and spa has been promoted to sales and operations manager.

Anna Smith, who originally comes from Worle, joined theclub at Cadbury House back in 2011 where she started off advising potential members on the club’s facilities and benefits of joining.

Since then she’s worked her way through the ranks, becoming one of the team’s more established members as well as best known faces to the club’s 4,000 members.

Her dedication and hard work has now been rewarded, becoming one of the senior managers at the popular venue.

Anna said: “It doesn’t feel that long ago when I first started work here. It’s a great place to be and I’ve enjoyed every minute.

“I’m now looking forward to making sure theclub at Cadbury House remains the leading health club and spa in the region.”

One of Anna’s first projects is to help promote a brand new £350,000 extension that includes a new quiet and relaxation area, sun deck, outside sauna and hot tub plus eating area.

Guests and members will be able to enjoy the views over the North Somerset countryside while during the rest of the winter, those brave enough will be able to enjoy the outside sauna as well as hot tub adding to the atmosphere and ambience of the club.

Anna added: “We’ve seen a steady rise in the demand for spa days as theclub has become the venue of choice for those looking for pamper day or weekend in the region.

“Add this to our 4,000-strong membership means we are able to extend our offer here further.

“An outside area plus quiet zone have been something we’ve been missing, so it’s  great news all round that we can now offer this to members and guests.”
