It means thehotel at Cadbury House Hotel Health Club & Spa will branded under the Doubletree by HILTON franchise displaying the exclusive logo that’s become synonymous with only the best hotels across the world. The venue, that has become a market leader in the region, will be named as Doubletree by HILTON, Cadbury House Health Club & Spa. It joins four other hotels that trade under the Doubletree name which are located in Aberdeen, Cambridge, Central London and Chester. Since it opened in 2007, thehotel at Cadbury House has enjoyed unrivalled success with occupancy consistently averaging 80% and the stylish, classic and contemporary accommodation was regarded as being the perfect match for the Doubletree brand. Nick Taplin, co-owner and Managing director of Cadbury House said: “We’re delighted that Cadbury House is now part of the Doubletree group.
“We’re also confident that the new brand will attract more tourists to the area, particularly Americans travelling to Bristol International Airport who are familiar with the Hilton name. This in turn will help provide a boost the local economy as more people visit.” The deal was struck following months of in-depth research by the Cadbury House management team including visits to Cambridge, London, Milan and the USA. It has resulted in facilities at the four-star hotel being upgraded to the tune of £1 million in order to reach the standards required by the Doubletree brand. This has included a full IT and system upgrade, the building of a brand new business lounge, the provision of air conditioning in all conference and function rooms, the refurbishment of all bedrooms and the installation of a state of the art fire life safety system.
“We’re also planning a big launch party in the New Year and will be inviting people from across the local area to help us celebrate this new chapter in the long and distinguished history of Cadbury House.” > Back |
