Visit Bristol's Gromit Unleashed
Over the next ten weeks, Gromit Unleashed will be taking over Bristol! Led by the internationally renowned Aardman Animations, giant fibreglass sculptures of Gromit standing 5ft tall will be unleashed onto the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area.
Each sculpture will be individually designed and created by invited artists, creating a trail of seventy unique pieces of art and will form an art exhibition for ten weeks from 1st July unitl 8th September 2013.
Famous artists involved in this unique art exhibition include Gromit creator, Nick Park, Aardman co-founder, Peter Lord, the man behind The Snowman, Raymond Briggs and Axel Scheffler, who drew children's favourite The Gruffalo and inventor of the wind-up radio. Not forgetting three time BAFTA winner and seven time British Comedy Awards winner, Harry Hill who has already unveiled his decorated, giant Gromit sculpture to the famous character’s creator Nick Park.
Visit Bristol this summer, and let Gromit take you on a trail around the City like no other and visit some of Bristol's most iconic art and architecture, including Brunel's famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
