You're Hired! New beauty therapist joins team at Cadbury House spa

A local college student has been given the opportunity to join the team at the award-winning spa within DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House.


A local college student has been given the opportunity to join the team at the award-winning spa within DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House.

Charlotte Rogers, 18, from Clevedon has been recruited as Apprentice Beauty Therapist at thespa which is located within the grounds of the four-star Congresbury hotel.

Having already achieved an NVQ 2 qualification in beauty therapy at Weston College, Charlotte will train for her NVQ 3 qualification at the spa, which offers an extensive treatment programme including massages, facials, waxing, tanning and nail treatments.

Charlotte said: “To be able to carry out my qualifications at a spa like this one is amazing. The customer service and the treatments available here are second to none so I’m really lucky to be learning from the team.

“I love being able to pamper people and make them feel special and I’m really looking forward to trying out some of the new technology the spa has invested in including the electrical facial.

“The extension has just been completed too, so it’s a really exciting time to work here.”

The spa and health club has recently undergone a major extension to add a new quiet and relaxation area, sun deck, outdoor sauna and hot tub plus eating area as well as relaxing hanging cocoons for guests to chill out in.

Spa manager Amy Weston said: “We’re so pleased to have Charlotte joining our growing team. Already her hard work, passion and enthusiasm is proving a winning combination and her attention to detail when looking after clients is brilliant.

“We are only able to do this by employing the very best team members so we’re pleased that Charlotte is doing so well. It’s also great to be able to support a local apprenticeship scheme and nurture the talent of aspiring therapists.”
