Treat Your Dad At Marco’s This Father’s Day

Families wanting to treat their dads to an extra special Father’s Day this year are being invited to book a table at one of the region’s finest venues.


Sunday 16th June is dedicated to celebrating doting dads and DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury has the day covered with a special menu available at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill.

The renowned restaurant is now taking bookings for the occasion where families will be able to enjoy either a two-course or three-course dinner including a special gift from Marco - a bottle of Marco’s Governor Lager, a full-bodied 4.7 per cent pils-style lager, that been brewed by Manchester-based JW Lees.

Krisztian Komar, Steakhouse Restaurant Manager, said: “Marco’s food is always a real hit with the dads. The dishes include some Marco classics and this year’s Father’s Day menu is looking superb and stays true to his philosophy of keeping things simple and feeding people well."

“Treating your dad to a nice lunch with the family is a lovely way to show him how much you care. The setting within one of the most popular hotels in the South West and with the rolling North Somerset hills in the background will just add to the perfect day!

 

For starters guests will be able to tuck into a ‘Smorgasbord’ of hors d’oeuvres. Perfect for sharing it includes an array of cold meats, seafood, vegetarian options, seasonal salad and a canteen of home-made soup."

For mains there’s a selection of roasts including beef, Somerset pork loin and herb chicken while those who don’t fancy meat can choose from a grilled salmon steak a la forestiere or gnocchi pomodoro.

Those with any room will then have a selection of six options to choose from the dessert menu. With the Box Tree Eton mess, Warm chocolate brownie, Mr Coulson’s sticky toffee pudding, Baked vanilla cheesecake, ice-cream and sorbets and a selection of Alex James cheeses is sure to bring a smile to the faces of diners.
