The-Great-Room

The Great Room

Situated on the first floor, The Great Room forms the centrepiece of the hotel. Dating back from 1790 it provides a feeling of spacious, luxurious exclusivity.

The Great Room is comprised of a large function space with three separate breakout areas; either to be used to enlarge the space further or as syndicate areas. In addition The Great Room has a large foyer; perfect for registration and casual meeting space, seated lounge, three wash rooms and private bar. Within the Great Room foyer is another smaller meeting room, The View, which boasts a perfect setting for a private office or interview space. On the same level is The Snug and The Landing which features their own private foyer ensuring break out space is within proximity to The Great Room for the larger events.

The Drawing Room

The Drawing Room

The Drawing Room, which is at ground level, can accommodate up to 100 guests on round tables and 160 for informal receptions.

With a contemporary, fresh feel and an exquisite finish it has its own bar and dancefloor and has easy access to the private outdoor terrace, landscaped gardens and gazebo.

With one side of the room made up of floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, natural light is plentiful and the seated terrace outside the room boasts glorious views across the valley.

It is ideal for all medium sized conferences, meetings, dinners and receptions.

Masters Conf 1

The Master Room

Seating up to 40 guests on round tables and up to 120 for an informal reception, the Master Room is perfect for a small party, wedding ceremony or conference. A light and spacious room with a private bar, it provides access to the outside balcony when hired in conjunction with The Box Room.

Situated on the third floor in the period part of the house, when combined with both the Turret Room and Box Room creates The Master’s Suite, three beautiful rooms that provides a versatile, light and spacious feel.

  • The Turret Room with a lovely Gothic bay window and great for meetings for up to 20 boardroom.
  • The Master Room, seating up to 50 theatre style with stunning chandeliers and its own private bar.
  • The Box Room with a capacity of 20 theatre style and stairs leading out onto a grassed balcony with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.

Individually as The Master Room or as a whole as the Master’s Suite, it is perfect for medium to small conferences, receptions, press launches, luncheons and dinners from 15 to 50 delegates.

Box Room

The Box Room

The Box Room adjoins the Master’s Room and features a large window looking out over the spectacular views across the North Somerset countryside and over to Wales. The Box room has direct access to the outside grassed terrace, ideal for breaks, lunches or mini teambuilding exercises.

Situated on the third floor in the period part of the house, The Box Room has air conditioning, lots of natural light and is perfect as a breakout room or for meetings seating up to 20 guests in a theatre style set up. It is also used as a buffet room for private and corporate events. Breaks for The Box are served in the nearby newly refurbished Conference Café.

More space is available when hired in conjunction with the Master’s Room and Turret Room. The Box Room is perfect for small conferences and receptions 10 to 20 delegates.

The Cow Shed

The Cowshed

The Cowshed is named after the original building which stood in its place as part of the 18th Century House. It is now a modern room perfect for small to medium-sized meetings seating up to 60 guests in a theatre style set up.

Set on the ground floor with close proximity to the Great Room but as a separate self-contained room, The Cowshed is fully air-conditioned, boasts lots of natural light and has its own private coffee room. The Cowshed comes fitted with a wall mounted, flat plasma screen which connects directly to laptops.

As a private room with direct access to the landscaped grounds and car parks, it is ideal for conferences, meetings, exams and as a larger breakout space.

The Landing

The Landing is a contemporary room with lots of natural light. The windows look out onto the spectacular views across the North Somerset countryside and over to Wales.

Situated on the first floor and close to the Great Room, The Landing is perfect for small to medium-sized meetings, private dining and business lunches, or as a separate breakout room and can seat up to 24 guests in a theatre style set up.

The Landing is fully air-conditioned and comes fitted with a wall mounted, flat plasma screen which connects directly to laptops.

The Landing is also adjacent to a seated lounge area, ideal for breakouts and informal discussions.

The Boardroom

The Boardroom is situated on the 3rd floor in the period part of the house and features the original beam work of the 18 century house.

It is perfect for seminars, private meetings and business lunches, seating up to 12 guests in a boardroom style set up. Breakout room available when hired in conjunction with The Study. Breaks for The Boardroom are served in the nearby newly refurbished Conference Café.

The Boardroom is fully air-conditioned and comes fitted with a wall mounted, flat plasma screen which connects directly to laptops.

The room boasts an external balcony with seating and views across North Somerset.

Study

The Study

The Study is suitable for smaller meetings and seminars and can be hired in conjunction with the Boardroom.

The Study is situated on the 3rd floor in the period part of the house. With exposed beams and lots of natural light this is a great room for small meetings or as a breakout room seating up to 10 guests in a boardroom style set up.

The Study is fully air-conditioned and comes fitted with a wall mounted, flat plasma screen which connects directly to laptops. Breaks for The Study are served in the nearby newly refurbished Conference Café.

The Study includes access to a balcony overlooking North Somerset when hired in conjunction with The Boardroom.

Snug

The Snug

This room is ideal for smaller meetings and seminars, seating up to 12 guests in a boardroom style set up.

The Snug has a private feel with modern décor, executive furniture and access to a seated lounge area, ideal for breakouts and informal discussions. The Snug is fully air-conditioned and comes fitted with a wall mounted, flat plasma screen which connects directly to laptops.

The View

The View is aptly named due to the stunning views it boasts of the North Somerset countryside, across the Bristol Channel and over to Wales. Newly refurbished, it is a contemporary room with a modern feel and with lots of natural light.

Situated on the first floor and close to the Great Room, The View is perfect for small meetings, interviews or as a breakout room, seating up to 4 guests in a boardroom style set up.

The View is fully air-conditioned and is adjacent to a seated lounge area ideal for breakouts and informal discussions.

Garden Room

The Garden Room

The amazing new dining space that takes in the breath taking views of the North Somerset countryside and is available for private dining, drinks and canape receptions, Christmas parties, Wedding Ceremonies, Afternoon Teas and informal conferences.

Guests at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill at Cadbury House are able to enjoy al fresco dining without having to worry about the Great British weather thanks to the state-of-the-art conservatory.

The amazing new dining space that takes in the breath taking views of the North Somerset countryside and is available for private dining, drinks and canape receptions, Christmas parties, Wedding Ceremonies, Afternoon Teas and informal conferences.

Located on a large section of the sun terrace outside the restaurant The Garden Room provide additional dining and private event space for up to 50 guests.

With an infinity glass front, a rain sensitive retractable roof and down heaters, customers at the restaurant and hotel are able to enjoy an al fresco drink, light bite or one of Marco’s famous steaks all year round.

In The Garden Room there is also the original oven that was previously owned by Keith Floyd where the restaurant’s chefs can be booked to cook live in front of the guests. Marco himself was the first person to cook live on this oven when it returned to Cadbury House in 2015.

Once again it proves why the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill is the venue of choice for anyone looking for some ‘affordable glamour’.
