Families with younger children wanting to celebrate Mothering Sunday with a difference can treat their mums at a special teddy bear event at Cadbury Hose, the region’s leading four-star hotel.

Taking place on Sunday 30 March, a teddy bear picnic will see families enjoy a delicious afternoon tea alongside a host of fun and games that will keep the little ones entertained.

The picnic starts at 12 noon and includes a children’s disco and party games. And while the children dance and play the afternoon away, mums can enjoy a Marco Pierre White afternoon tea including a glass of fizz.

Claire Jones, sales manager at Cadbury House said: “This promises to be a wonderful afternoon where families can make some fabulous memories.

“Mums are always running around after everyone else and often don’t take any time for themselves.

“Treating the mums to a nice afternoon tea in a fun, relaxed environment is a lovely way to show how much families care and is a great way to get everyone together to sit back, relax and enjoy the day.

“Naturally, we want as many of our guests, both young and old, to bring along their favourite teddy bear to share in the fun.”

Tickets for the picnic cost £35 for adults and £25 for children. Teddy bears can come along for free.
