FAQs

Several rooms accommodating 15 to 320 guests are licensed for Civil Partnership Ceremonies. Bookings can be made by telephoning the Registrar on 01823 282 251. You will also need to contact the registrar’s office in your own Borough to give notice.
Once you have viewed Cadbury House, received a quotation and confirmed availability of your specific date, please return your quotation and a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions which will have been sent to you by your wedding coordinator, together with a deposit for £1000.00. Your booking will then be confirmed and your date secured. Following this you will the receive a written contract from The Weddings Team.
A venue hire fee is payable for all weddings and events held at Cadbury House. The venue hire charge is an additional fee to The Willow, Blossom and Mulberry package. The cost of venue hire differs depending on the choice of function suite, day and month.
Yes, Cadbury House Wedding Team who, with you, will develop a detailed event program which will form the basis of your wedding day. They will give advice on timings and best use of the house, recommend and liaise with service providers and suppliers and guest accommodation. Your Wedding Co-Ordinator will also schedule appointments for you during your planning journey. These include a six monthly catch up, final details meeting and a menu tasting event, if applicable to your chosen package.
You will have an Event Manager who will act as your Master of Ceremonies. Your Event Manager will have extensive meetings with your Wedding Co-Ordinator prior to your wedding day to ensure a smooth hand-over of your special day. The event manager will be introduced to you before the wedding takes place by your Wedding Team and they will set up your wedding and be with you throughout your special day to ensure everything runs smoothly as you planned.
Please speak to your wedding coordinator before booking your ceremony time as your ceremony time will be dependent on the function room you have booked. This will also be detailed on your Wedding Quotation, Wedding Contract and Confirmation Letter. If you are having a Church Ceremony please follow the same procedure as your will be given a time you are allowed to arrive to the venue from.

The Great Room can hold a maximum capacity of 320 seated guests on round tables and one top table. The Drawing Room holds a maximum capacity of 100 seated guests on round tables and one top table. The Master Suite holds a maximum capacity of 40 seated guests on round tables and one top table.
Yes. Self-catered events from professional caterers can be arranged at Cadbury House. Terms and conditions and restrictions do apply. No food or beverage can be brought to the premises without the express prior consent and written permission from the company. Please speak with our Weddings Team to receive a quotation.
Unfortunately, food or beverage not purchased directly from Cadbury House cannot be brought on to the premises without the express prior consent and written permission of the company.
Once you have confirmed your wedding with us and received your written contract, a personal allocation link will be distributed to yourself for you to send directly to your chosen guests. This link will include your allocated number of bedrooms agreed within your contract, at a discounted rate. Your guests can then book their bedrooms using this link. If your guests require an accessible room or family room, this must be completed by contacting our Reservations Team directly. Please be advised that special requirements rooms are at no extra cost.
The couple tying the knot will receive complimentary car parking. Guests staying in-house will be charged £7.50 to park a car overnight. Day guests attending your wedding will receive complimentary car parking for the day however they must register their car vehicle registration with our reception team. This is done via a device. Unfortunately, without registering the car vehicle you will be charged a fine of a minimum of £100.00 from our external car parking company, which will need to be directly appealed with Brittania Car Parking.
